Airbnb // no borders

For 50 years, a 90-mile divide was much more than that. Now, there are 4,000 Cuban micro-entrepreneurs inviting people into their homes, their stories, and their lives.

For the first year Cuba opened its borders for Airbnb, only select countries could stay. But on the one year anniversary, we announced that everyone, from everywhere could visit and support Cuban hosts – and the White House even celebrated the news with us.

We hit the Sunday crossword circuit in the NYT. And, the Obama White House took notice on Twitter.
